Slow Cooker Polish Sausage, Sauerkraut & Potatoes



Polish sausage, tangy sauerkraut, and soft potatoes cooked to perfection in a slow cooker make this dish hearty and comforting. This dish is simple to make and great for a cozy family dinner.

Ingredients:

  • 1 lb Polish sausage, sliced
  • 1 lb sauerkraut, drained and rinsed
  • 4 medium potatoes, peeled and diced
  • 1 onion, thinly sliced
  • 1 cup chicken broth
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon caraway seeds
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions:

Put the sauerkraut, diced potatoes, sliced onion, and sliced Polish sausage in a slow cooker in that order

Put chicken broth, garlic that has been minced, caraway seeds, salt, and pepper in a bowl

Pour this over the things that are already in the slow cooker

Put the lid on top and cook on low for 6 to 8 hours or high for 3 to 4 hours, until the potatoes are soft and the flavors are well mixed

If you want, you can serve it hot with chopped parsley on top
