This Blue Spirulina Smoothie is colorful and healthy. It has blue spirulina and the natural sweetness of bananas and blueberries. Not only does this smoothie look great, it is also full of vitamins and antioxidants.
Ingredients:
- 1 banana
- 1 cup frozen blueberries
- 1 tsp blue spirulina powder
- 1 cup almond milk
- 1 tbsp honey or maple syrup
- 1/2 cup Greek yogurt
- Ice cubes optional
Instructions:
Peel and slice the banana
Place the banana, frozen blueberries, blue spirulina powder, almond milk, honey or maple syrup, and Greek yogurt in a blender
If desired, add a few ice cubes for extra thickness and chill
Blend until smooth and creamy, adjusting the consistency with more almond milk if needed
Taste and adjust sweetness if necessary by adding more honey or maple syrup
Pour the smoothie into a glass, and enjoy!
